Claims Management

As your claims advocate, we manage and facilitate the claims process. Our role includes noticing the claims to the carriers on your behalf, monitoring the carrier for timely responses, interacting with defense counsel, and working with the carrier to ensure appropriate payment of a claim. We also review and evaluate the coverage letters and address any coverage issues which may arise with a claim.

  • Notice of claims and potential claims to the carriers
  • Proactive follow up with carriers for acknowledgment and coverage letters
  • Review coverage letters and discuss with client any necessary strategies
  • Address coverage issues with the carrier
  • Facilitate the dissemination of claim information such as status updates or documentation as between client, counsel and carrier
  • Monitor legal fees and ensure proper credit/payment/reimbursement by the carrier to the client
  • Assist client with its internal processes as to identifying and reporting claims in order to ensure proper notice to the carrier and compliance under its policy
  • Provide consultation and strategic direction regarding actual or potential claims and loss prevention/mitigation
